I have been working in pain management for the past year, but I am interested in employment in any area of medicine. Anyone know of any job openings? I have checked lehigh valley hospital's (the biggest employer in the valley) website every single week for the past 6 months and there have literally been like 4 jobs... inpatient psych, robotic surg, part time family practice 30 min out of the city.... it sucks. and many private practices have been bought by LVH and so they do hiring only thru LVH, so if you call and say "hey would you like a PA?" they just say, go check the LVH website. st luke's has had a few more than lvh but not too welcoming to new grads it seems.
