wesr_gordon Posted September 5, 2014 Hi there, I know standard courtesy is to send a card to your interviewers after personal interviews. However, I just did an MMI with 10 different interviewers and there is no way I can properly thank them all. I did however have a longer personal interview with one of the ten. Is it ok to send her an email? Thanks.
dchampigny Posted September 5, 2014 Send one to the program coordinator or the person who e-mailed you to schedule the interview and write is a broad thank you note to the program
Guest MedLib42 Posted September 5, 2014 I agree with dchampigny, send one to the program coordinator if you can, thanking all ten interviewers broadly. I would also say yes, in addition, it's a good idea to send a more personalized thank you to the person you had the longer individual interview with. I was always told not to thank interviewers via email - too easy and casual. A handwritten note or card was generally the standard I went by.
zoopeda Posted September 6, 2014 Was the program director one of the interviewers? I'd at least send one to him/her too.
