Chris PA-C
Anyone here see patients in rehabs, snf or assisted living facilities? Looking to form a partnership with a physician and be a 1099 with my own LLC. Looking to avoid any pitfalls in forming this partnership so any advice is appreciated. adubitzky
I'm in florida and I can't tell you what the rules on corporate practice of medicine are in your state but I can tell you that the physician will need partial ownership in the practice in order for you to bill Medicare. Also, you'll need the physician to sign off on all POC's, if you're dealingg with homebound patients, which in the ALF setting you most likely will be. Hope that helps
