Question: Where is the best place to live in Norfolk

Recommended Posts

Alternatively, you could also look in the Hampton, Va or Newport News, VA areas just on the other side of the water. This would add to the commute but there are tons of houses or apartments for rent because of Langley AFB as well as Hampton University. Lots of stuff to do in that area as well, with a huge outdoor shopping malls, restaurants, and a pretty decent beach (buckroe beach) without having to go to VA Beach.

I was really trying to stay in the Ghent area since it is close enough to ride from. Plus, it seems like a really safe quiet area. Where I live right now is very noisy, making it hard to sleep. I feel like low rent, proximity to school, and price are major factors. @CStep I like the idea of small house or limited apartment complex. Thanks for ya'lls input
