2014-2015 application cycle

Recommended Posts

Do you get the supplemental application in an email? On CASPA it says they don't have a supplemental and I didn't see any information about it on their website. I designated my application to the school on 8/28 from CASPA but I haven't received a confirmation email yet or anything.

Thanks Jenn, good to know!! How long did it take after you sent in CASPA to get a confirmation email? I still haven't received one and I already sent my GRE scores to the school as well.

Well so I never received a confirmation email... but I just got the email for the supplemental essays so that's exciting!! But there's no way I can write 2 pages/essay. I am thinking 3/4 a page for each if that lol

I just received an email for the supplemental essays today. I know it says 2 page max for each one, but I don't see myself writing more than a page at most. How much did everyone else write?

I wrote 3/4 of a page for each. I think less is more if you can be concise about your answer. I don't think the admissions team wants to read 4 pages of a supplemental for each applicant lol

I got a call offering me an interview on Oct 25! Anyone else hear anything? Do they use rolling admissions?

When did you get the call? I've been anxiously awaiting one! Yes, they do use rolling admissions.

I got a phone call inviting me to interview on Sept. 15th. I turned down the offer so I don't remember which date it was for. CASPA verified around June 23. Supplemental essay email received Aug. 20, submitted Aug. 22nd. Good luck!

I'll be attending the interview on Oct 25! I received the supplemental essays on Aug 25, submitted them Sept 10, and got the call on Sept 29. Can't wait to meet any of you interviewing on Saturday!

I interview November 15th! For those of you who already interviewed, what is the process like? One on one interviews versus group interviews? Any information on the interview day would be much appreciated!!

The whole process was great. Very relaxed and welcoming. You receive a lot of information and get to experience a problem based learning simulation which was very nice because I had no idea what to expect from that. There are one on one and group interviews but they are nothing to worry about, just be yourself and be honest. You get to see the campus including their simulation lab (which is really cool) and cadaver lab. Good luck! I will be attending in the spring!
