I look at the pictures of graduating PA classes and it seems to be all females with 3-4 males sprinkled in. Speech/OT/PT are also overwhelmingly female. Like someone else said these types of professional careers are great options for women because they don't take 10+ years like MD/DO does. First PA I met was a woman who was a former RN.
