Sorry to hear, but it's not terrible.  I have heard you'll basically be guaranteed an interview if you apply next year (if you aren't picked off the waiting list this year).  I haven't heard any stats for how many people are picked off it... probably depends on how many people don't accept the admissions offer year-to-year.  One poster, earlier in this thread, said at least a few of his classmates were from the waiting list.

Just found out this morning I have an interview for this Friday! Can anyone tell me what their interview experience was like?

Nice!  The interview is structured, meaning they have questions prepared for you and ask you one after another.  I didn't find that it was conversational at all.  I'm not sure if they always ask the same questions (my guess is no), but they definitely always ask you why you want to be a PA, so you must have that answer down without hesitation.

Interviewed today and loved it! Everyone was so nice and I was really impressed with the facilities.  Hoping I get in...that would be a great Christmas present haha!

I know, wouldn't it?!  I interviewed 3 weeks ago yesterday.  Hoping to hear positive news soon!  Good luck to you, too.

At the interview, they said we would find out by letter no matter what but I heard of some students from other years saying they got a phone call.  Do they still do this or is it just by letter?

I called Pcom last week about the packet coming in the mail.  They said we will be receiving an email in January instead of a packet in the mail.

Can anyone who's heard back give an idea of how long they waited to hear after the interview? I know they told us 4-6 weeks but some people it seems have heard earlier so I'm just wondering!

Before I got my letter in the mail, I went back and tracked how long it took everyone to get their responses (from this year and prior). Avg was like 2-4 weeks. One year people were getting them less than 2 weeks.

I heard back almost a month to the exact day of my interview! I submitted my deposit and have sent emails releasing my seat at other programs... I am officially attending PCOM's PA school!

I sent in my application in October and haven't heard anything- I can see they've received everything, including the supplemental application, but have heard nothing. I guess that means I didn't get in.

Anyone heard anything from the waitlist yet?  I know they start orientation next week. I was told a few weeks ago we won't hear anything until the week of orientation (I'm guessing if someone drops or switches during the first week) but I'm dying to know, as PCOM is my first choice!
