Are there any 4 year college online courses that arn't over $200 a credit?

I really doubt it. Your best chance would be state colleges/universtities in your own state, but even that is probably not likely.

Yea, I think NY has the most expensive tutition its around 350/instate 700/out of state - per credit. But they have so many requirements to take a course. You have to have certain pre reqs and co reqs for many of the Science courses

Pathophys at Southeast Community College is 55 a credit hour for out of state...its listed as a nursing course but you dont have to be a nursing student....Im signed up for it...they also have a pharm course....two actually. Oh and the have a medical diseases course that is under their medical assistant program--all online www.southeast.edu

Might be a little late to register for the classes BUT if you hurry you may be able to get on the waiting lists

Other than that i would say check all your local schools and see if you can get in as non-degree seeking or a transient student

Oh and Central Georgia Technical College has a Human Disease course (description similar to patho) for thier MA program www.centralgatech.edu and they seem to be a lot easier to register with than Southeast

Rio Salado CC has online Human Pathophys this spring, HCR240. I'm taking an online Chem course there right now, and it's awesome. I plan on taking a couple more classes with them. Only downfall of the Pathophys class is it's not through the Bio dept, it's in the Healthcare dept, so I don't know if it would be looked down on. Not the cheapest out-of-state tuition... $215/cr. And, if you make a request the first day of the class, some professors will give you an accelerated version of the course so you can finish in 8 weeks instead of 16.

Should pre requisites be completed at various colleges online? Are there any colleges that offer some sort degree for these pre-reqs with the addition of a few other courses? Perhaps a sort of associates in biology?

I think one of the links took me to south university where I noticed there was an online health science degree packed with those kinds of courses.

Most of us are non-traditional students and are taking these classes just to jump through the required hoops. We do whatever fits our schedule.

I see. I am somewhat in the same boat. I graduate with a non related BS this week and need to take all of the pre-reqs. I think it would be much more beneficial if many of the courses were under some associate or minor which would allow you to have something more to show rather than a thick folder of transcripts. An online associates degree with the majority of the pre reqs would be golden for me. The problem though is finding it :D

Edit: This would be close(minus the fact it is $361 per credit). Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't think I'd want to portray the fact that my prereqs and so forth came from an online associate's program via an associate's degree that I completed years after finishing my bachelor's. That's just me though. Good luck.

Diablo Valley College in California has Medical Terminology (HSCI-128), Business Statistics (BUS-240) and Statistics (Math-142) online. It's $26/credit for instate students and out of state students are $207/unit.

 That's a HUGE leap in price. I hope they don't have any OOS students.

Thanks for this.....I checked it out and plan to complete my foreign language requirement and bio requirement through here over the summer.

this school is a bit expensive (215.00 p/c/h) but its accredited, you can start when you want (classes start every monday) no app fees or anything and you can choose to do a regular term (14 weeks) or 8 week term with most classes
