TaurusRampage
Which PA schools offer a program that focuses on surgery? A better question would be, if I am interested in being a surgical PA, would I have to go to a specific PA school for this? Or do additional graduate coursework to be a surgical PA? Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted May 21, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 21, 2014 There are only 2. Cornell and UAB. No, you don't need to go to a surgical PA program or residency to be one. Though it might help.
andersenpa
The options are on of the surgical focus programs mentioned above or a surgical residency http://appap.org/Default.aspx If your PA program offers electives then you can structure several surgical rotations to get exposure and job leads.
