Ohh the Ecmo debate rages on.. Been 30-38 years and STILL. No clear answer.. Did help a lot of kiddies with surfactant issues , though.

As someone who has had ARDS/SIRS , I can tell you that anything... Anything , including a transplanted lung, that helps oxygenation would be a godsend.
