dreatx
What does this mean, in terms of Pacific U? Are you taking one class at a time to completetion? Sounds interesting but the website is a little vague, on that subject. Thanks.
CorpsmanUP
It means instead of taking separate courses in pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, micro over a semester each module is on one organ system (or topic like psych, peds, EM). For example you will spend two weeks on the anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology, clinical exams, diseases and treatments for the renal system and take a comprehensive exam at the end of the module. Then on Monday a new module will start on the hepatic system, or on cardio, or emergency medicine, etc. Here is the link for exactly what a Clinical Module covers: http://www.pacificu.edu/pa/programs/pasp/courses/index.cfm
dreatx
Thanks. That sounds like a very interesting way to learn and be tested.
zoopeda
Genius. OHSU Med School uses this format; I don't know why OHSU PA and many other schools do not.
