Another letters of recommendation question...

Recommended Posts

Hey all! I'm working on compiling my letters of recommendation for the upcoming CASPA cycle. (This will be my first time applying.) I have shadowed both a DO and a few PAs. Would it be better to have a letter of recommendation from the PA or the DO? The schools where I'm applying don't specify, and I already have professors writing my other two letters. Or, would it be better to have both the PA and the DO write letters for me?

Thanks!

If your schools don't specify, I'd get at least one letter from a PA and no more than one letter from a professor. The third could be from another PA or the DO (or is there a supervisor from work?). Know that I'm assuming all of them would write equally strong letters for you.
