AudreyH
I'm on the wait list for 3 PA programs, so I most likely will have to re-apply this upcoming cycle. Would I be able to use the same essay I used before if I just add a few updates to it? I'll be applying to a couple of the same schools, but some others as well since I will have more direct patient care hours than before.
UGoLong
Audrey, This has been talked about before and I'll summarize my thoughts on it: Your essay is really a marketing piece designed to get you an interview. It is not just a deliverable that you need to check off. If a year is going to go by before you are considered again, then I suspect you should at least revisit your essay. If you are the same person they talked with last year and waitlisted, then what new aspect would make them need to talk with you again. Get my drift? The next application is a chance for a do-over. What did you do this ;past year to make yourself a better candidate? Why not tell them about it? Good luck!

Well what I did was gain more hours working as an ER scribe, so I was going to just add that in my essay.
