GetMeOuttaThisMess
There's those darn Canadians trying to bring actual evidence into the discussion again when supposition was working just fine. What's wrong with them?
discogenic
Good editorial re: statins for primary vs. secondary prevention. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/822462?nlid=52803_1521&src=wnl_edit_medp_wir&uac=19406EZ&spon=17#1 tl;dr: good evidence for secondary, not so much for primary. GetMeOuttaThisMess
Oh lord, it's an epidemic! Common sense is now moving south of the border into the United States! How will the pharm companies survive? Loved the example of the physician who went from <7% 10 year risk to 17% 10 year risk in one day (new computation guidelines). Sounds like me after a trip to BK (Hey E, wife is at a dental hygiene meeting tonight so I'll be playing single which may lead to another trip to BK. Run a little further for me today, good buddy!). Update: No BK. Settled on local hamburger outlet instead (Whataburger)! E, keep running.....
