Gervon R.T.
I am anxiously in need of a PA that would not mind me shadowing them for approximately 200-300 hours, please can anyone help?
DennisG
Not to be a bummer, but based on my PA related forum dwelling these past months, none of these threads get any replies. Your best bet is to call doctor's offices and ask them. If not, what do you do for HCE? I'm sure someone there may have a connection or two that may help you out. jmj11
There are exceptions. I've had two forumites shadow me from postings.
MedicinePower
It can be very hard to find PAs to shadow. The individual PA might be open to it but they may work for a system that prohibits any type of shadowing. I had that problem in Boston and ended up spending a week in Columbus, OH where I shadowed an amazing cardiology PA for a week. I don't have any specific resources for you but you may want to keep an open mind as to how and where you get the shadowing hours. Good luck! newbeginning
Why 200-300 hours? That's a long time to shadow one person. Have you tried www.pashadowonline.com? I would change it up. Shadow someone in internal med, then oncology, maybe peds. The benefit of switching it up is you get to see how PA function in different specialities. Good luck!
