"Certificate" programs?

Recommended Posts

I'm interested in eventually applying to St. John's University's program, but I see that they don't offer a Master's program, which I thought was a requirement  to be a PA.  All I see is a Bachelor's program and a "certificate" program for those who already have a Bachelor's (http://www.stjohns.edu/academics/undergraduate/pharmacy/programs/pa/admission.stj).

Anyone know if this school has a reputable program?  I intend on finishing my Bachelor's in Health Sciences and then start applying to PA schools...

I don't know the program but there are some states where you are limited as a PA without a masters. Besides researching the particular school, you might want to look at states you are interested in working in. In Ohio, for example, you can't get a certificate to prescribe with an MS.
