The ARC-PA website said these are the issues - are there any current students on here that can comment?

All of the above issues are very much present and very much an issue. Not much has changed. I really hope they do get accrediated because they professors are very nice and care about their jobs, but it is a gamble.

Has anyone had any issues submitting the $50 fee to Monmouth? I tried using the link provided on CASPA but it says my application is not found even though I submitted. Is there a lag time between submitting and being able to pay the fee to Monmouth?

Also- anyone had to submit AP scores through College Board directly to Monmouth? Never had to do that before since I have the credits on my transcript. And since I took my AP exams >4 years ago they are archived and need a special request through College Board to get sent.

You're saying they have bad issues and they are not changing? That's not good.

Any idea on how they did on the PANCE? They don't have their scores posted. Coupled with the accreditation problems above it is making me very nervous to apply.

I think most grads have passed the PANCE! But to be honest I wouldn't recommend applying. Hopefully you'll be accepted to a different program, so then problem solved. If not then you're stuck in limbo deciding to take a chance going to a program that may lose accreditation while you're there. I know the next visit is next fall so I'll be good to graduate next spring, but its a tough situation for anyone looking to apply now. Best of luck!

I didn't notice a forum for this program, so I thought I would try to start one.

      Hey Everyone,

For those of you who have shadowed physician assistants already, how did you get the ball rolling? I'm currently typing up a letter of interest that I can personalize and leave when I approach places of interest. At the moment I'm considering going to Urgent Care or MedExpress facilities in hopes I can find some PAs there. I've also put out feelers to friends in the medical field in hopes they can point me in the correct direction.

I've already contacted universities in New Jersey with PA Programs to find out if they have a program for alumni who are interested in having someone shadow and was told no, the information is not available to non students. This is understandable, but I am looking to change careers and believe it is vital for me to shadow now so I can figure out if I really want to go down that path.

Any help, questions, or comments are welcomed. Looking in central/southern New Jersey as well as the Philadelphia, Pa area. Yes, I am on pashadowonline.com and every PA is at least an hour and a half-two hours away from where I live and they are not available on the weekends. My current job will only allow for nighttime and/or weekend shadowing.

      Thank you for your time!

      Hello everyone!

Wondering if anyone else has received an invite for an interview for the class starting in June 2015? I received an invite today to interview on October 31st.

      Anyone have any advice?

      Thanks

Hello, Our office is currently looking to hire a full-time PA, we are located in South Jersey. I was wondering where is the best place to find the right person to fit our office.  Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks
