GetMeOuttaThisMess
I would be curious to hear comments from anyone who has performed these comprehensive in home assessments for Medicare patients. On the surface it seems like a nice way to segue into retirement since there is no actual treatment, just assessment only. You are a contract laborer so that means you get to cover the additional 7.65 percent of employment taxes, but it would also open the door to other potential employment write-offs for tax purposes. Two fee options are possible; assessment only and assessments with phlebotomy. From what I also gather, volume drops off between the end of the year and first quarter due to Medicare enrollment periods. In essence, you're working nine of twelve months of the year.
