Moderator EMEDPA Posted September 13, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 13, 2013 A number of months ago Clinician 1 and PAs for Tomorrow had a campaign to email CVS and have the message that millions of patients heard every day changed. The old message said If you want to speak to a pharmacist, press 1. DOCTOR,S press 2. It gave the impression that only DOCTORS prescribed. Well we wrote them and asked them to change the word. We asked them to say PAs, NPs and doctors press 2. OR our second choice was PRESCRIBERS, press 2. Well they changed it nationwide to PRESCRIBERS, press 2. One small step for NPs and PAs.
