toyotabike
What does it mean by scope of practice and autonomy? Is it not being able to do certain procedures?
Moderator EMEDPA Posted August 28, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 28, 2013 What does it mean by scope of practice and autonomy? Is it not being able to do certain procedures? yup, arbitrary restrictions which say PAs can't do X. a pa I work with is also an u/s tech with a 4 yr u/s degree. trained better than any er doc in u/s. took over a year to get credentialed. an fp or er doc can get credentialed just by asking.
