andersenpa
Anyone got a good link for a "cheat sheet" on all the basic ortho maneuvers (lachman/drawer/etc)- exam technique how-to, indication, etc?????
Guest iris rose
Here's a link to a website that has descriptions, pictures, and some videos on knee exam techniques. It has been helpful to me, hopefully you will find it helpful too! http://www.sportsdoc.umn.edu/Clinical_Folder/Knee_Folder/knee.htm Navigate from the menu on the left and it will take you to the different special tests. sas85
This site is not really a cheat sheet but as a student I find it useful. Click on Musculoskeletal link and scroll down a bit for the individual joints. http://medicine.ucsd.edu/clinicalmed/ Stephanie
jointpa
A decent book is The Essentials of Musculoskeletal Care 3rd edition. It's kind of like a 5 minute consult book. Plus this edition comes with an educational CD showing you different exam and injection techniques. Hope this helps. Jointpa
themadmedic
I think that we all should have Essentials in our library, rather in ortho, EM or primary care. Excellent resource.
