Keepitrural Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 The rural health clinic I currently work at (Condon Oregon) is desperatelytrying to find avenues to fund a new wellness center/clinic. We are a relativelyisolated community (70 miles to the nearest hospital). The community is farmingbased and comprised of a mostly geriatric population. Currently there are nofacilities to house physical therapy, physical fitness classes, or education classes.The clinic itself is old and is at the end of its service life. Our ideal facility would replace our current medical, dental, and mentalhealth facilities. It would also include a wellness center that would have roomfor both physical fitness classes and educational classes.
