Acromion
I am a soon to be graduate, and I got a call from a recruiter about a doc looking to hire a PA for a PM&R practice. She wasn't able to tell me much about the job, other than it would involve seeing nursing home patients. She said he is looking for someone with experience working with the geriatric population. Here is the job description she sent me: "Under direct supervision, assist the attending physician with outpatient care. Performs History and Physical exams and writes orders and maintains and develops plan of care for physician practice and outpatient setting. Workups and services are done under the supervision of the attending physician." Has anyone worked in this PM&R? What would I be doing, day to day, as PA in this specialty?
