PNKGIRL25 Posted July 6, 2013 So I am in the processes of applying for the loan repayment program for my nursing program through OSHPD and part of this program requires 2 year of services in a "medically underserved" area. Well I looked up the areas that are covered and from what I can tell pretty much all of Los Angeles County is "medically underserved. So does that mean that if I get approved for the loan repayment I can work in Los Angeles or Long Beach and I should be fine. Or what if I worked at a local jail or VA hospital?....I am unable to relocate due to a personal issue so I would need to stay in the Southern California area.
whoRyou Posted July 10, 2013 Somehow with the link that Chris provided I came across this with my city, state, and county http://www.memorialhermann.org/uploadedFiles/_Library/Memorial_Hermann/Texas%20Medical%20Center%20CHNA%20Final%205.20.13.pdf
