  2. Hello, If anyone has filled out a CASPA application before, please help answer some questions. The programs that I am applying into this April required a certain number of hours Hands On Patient Care. What does this section look like in CASPA? More specifically, what are the things that needed to be included, for example, contact information of supervisor? I believe I heard from someone that there is a section that you have to enter any valid certification up to date. If my hands on patient care experience was in the past and my license has since expired, do I still enter my certification information? Likewise, what information is needed in this section, for example, the certification identification number? If you have gone through the process, can you tell me how CASPA verify the certification section? Please kindly help. Thank you so much!
  3. To any PA that has gone through a residency program - did you get a loan deferment/forbearance?
  4. I'm looking to find an interested individual to split a 2 bedroom apartment in either the Newark, Wilmington, or Glasgow area. About myself: I'm a 28 year old male resident of California moving to Delaware for Physician Assistant school at Arcadia University. I currently work at a paint shop since I like home improvement projects, and at night as a medical assistant. I like to read, watch movies, run, hike, swim, and really anything else outdoor related during my non-working hours. I'm a considerate roommate and respect the space of others. I'm well organized, friendly, and focused. My move in date would be mid May 2014. If you're in a similar situation, looking to cost save and have a solid roommate please let me know! Thanks! (As a current Arcadia student, if you can recommend a good apartment complex, I'd appreciate that as well.) Nick
  5. Has anyone used this? Trying to get a feel for pros and cons. I had access to exam master for a couple weeks and I liked that I do want to get an idea for the other options out there. If it matters, I am going for my first PANRE.
  6. It may be better to do this on the facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/223134977774073/), so we can get to know each other a little better, but I figured that we could start on here ... Maybe just put a little blurb about who you are, likes/dislikes, what you are looking for in a roommate, etc. Name: Julia Karnoski Age: 23 Hometown: All over Southern California Undergrad: Loyola Marymount University - Natural Science Hobbies: Hot yoga, running, beach volleyball, snowboarding/skiing, boating, cooking, hanging out, I like to entertain and have people over ... My priority will obviously be school, but I would like to enjoy myself during whatever free time we will have... Post your profile if you're looking for a roommate! And join the facebook group!
  7. I will be starting my first PA job next week and have a question about requesting reimbursement for expenses. My contract states my employer will pay for all licensing fees including state license and DEA license. When would it be appropriate to request reimbursement for these fees? Thank you.
  8. I'm planning on going to the Las Vegas conference. However since my Bankroll is dwindling and I'm going to be just about to start an awesome rotation I didn't want to spend the whole week in vegas. Does anyone know when the best time to be at the conference is? As someone who is graduating in August do you think it is beneficial for finding a job?
