  2. So I live in Tucson Arizona and my fiancé and I just bought a house from his father. I originally was going to be a Clinical Psychologist but the median salary to PhD/PsyD debt ratio is atrocious. I was speaking with a former mentor and internship director now friend who told me that I would be better suited to being a Physician Assistant and that therapy doesn’t seem to have professional fulfillment (based on my experience as a group cbt facilitator.) 3. Hey All, I didn't see a thread like this so I thought I would start one! I just got a letter of rejection for the Post-Bacc Pre med program from UVA. I applied October 1st.
  4. Hi guys, I've been google searching to no avail regarding where I can take a genetics course online. I am aware that UNE offers an online genetics course, but I would rather NOT take genetics at UNE if possible. Can anyone recommend a university where I can take genetics 100% online? I am working full-time, studying to retake the GRE, and taking biochemistry (repeat course) online concurrently which is why I need to take genetics strictly online. Thank you everyone for the help in advance!
  5. Hi everyone, I know that there are a ton of posts about which route would be the best way to get to PA school but I want to get more advice/opinions for my own specific case. I took all of my pre-reqs at Rutgers University and graduated May 2017. I have shadowed an ER PA, a pediatrician and have worked as a medical scribe for over 1 year. I also recently started volunteering at UPenn as a nursing assistant. My cGPA: 3.31 and sGPA 2.89. I haven't taken my GRE yet but I plan to by the end of the year at the latest. I had my heart set on applying after 1 gap year but became very
  6. If you’ve already applied to PA school or you are considering applying and your GPA is not competitive enough for admission, you might consider postbaccalaureate programs (“post-bacc” programs) or master level programs. These programs require an undergraduate degree as a prerequisite, but they are not always considered graduate education. Some programs are considered “continuing education” and can lead to a graduate degree, a certificate, or aid you in meeting the entrance requirements to a physician assistant program.
