  1. Is there any specific wording for including the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination on my resume/CV before I sit for the exam in January 2022? I couldn't find anything specific online but found a couple of blog posts that recommended phrasing as: "NCCPA Board Eligible" Put "anticipated" before your examination date if you are registered for the exam but have not taken it yet Put "pending" before your examination date if you have taken the exam and are awaiting results On my current CV, I have: NCCPA Board Eligible (Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination) Anticipated January 2022 Any guidance or advice on this topic is appreciated! I would hate to word incorrectly and have it hurt my job search. Thank you!
  2. Dear PA Student, My name is Dr. Leonard. I am a physician assistant and a PA educator. With the ongoing pandemic my concern for the future of the current PA students, especially those on clinical rotations, concerns me. This is why I am emailing students about PA Excel and their HELP line for PANCE review. I used this program 6 years ago and it has only gotten better! It is a PANCE review like no other. I do NOT work for PA Excel, although I may do some anatomy and physiology review for them in the future, but I love and believe in their product! But check them out for yourselves, do your homework but I can guarantee this program is the best and most affordable. And because I am such a big shot, lol jk, no but I know the CEO, he gave me my own code to give students to get them 30% off. I was like, a third? That is crazy. Anyways, I hope you use it. Feel free to give this code: evan30 to anyone and everyone you care too whom you think would benefit from this impressive PANCE review. They have virtual clinical rotations as well that are ARC-PA approved; if your PA program is struggling to get clinical rotations during this pandemic. Here is the direct link: https://helpcampus.com/membership-options/?_s2member_vars=page..level..1..page..78996..Lw%3D%3D&_s2member_sig=1586375631-f3148aa7ff0f97cb30a3a2450088f0f8 But here is the main website page in case you think I am sending you some crazy spam link lol: https://paexcel.com/ Twenty-five universities use PA Excel for their entire program to use. I think this is a good way to a. stay fresh for rotations and b. prepare for the PANCE. Again, the discount code is evan30. Best of Luck and Good Studying, Dr. Leonard, MS, PA-C

  4. Hey Yall Currently prepping for the PANCE. I have been studying for the past two months from PPP and ROSH. Initially I did alot of reading from PPP with scattered questions realizing quickly this is not as effective as making notes. I started to make notes for the bigger systems, such as CARDS, PULM, GI, MSK. Ive been studying everyday from 10-12 hours and with a week left I get this feeling that Im not ready. Below I posted my results I took two weeks ago, not sure how to feel. My question to yall is, what are some strategies you used to take exams? what algorithm did you have in your mind when analyzing a question. My ROSH score is a 578 with 92% passing but I understand this isnt as predictable. I have played with Kaplan and have scored in the mid 60s to 70s on it within each organ system.

    PANCE Tutor

PANCE Tutor I am an online tutor for the PANCE. I'm a retired M.D., retired since 2002, with 22 years teaching PA's, medical interns and Med. students. As far as I know, I'm the only live online PA Tutor in the country! I have been successfully tutoring matriculating PA students and PANCE/PANRE candidates from California to New York for 8 years. I really enjoy teaching......and I really believe in and I am a strong advocate for PAs. I tutor only PA students, and I am fully committed to the PA profession because I believe in it. I had a great working relationship with PAs in my practice for many years, and found PAs to be so Far Superior to the other 'similar' providers (I think you know whom I mean - lol). Pass rates since 2010 for our 68 students using us are 99% for first time takers and 93% for students having failed 1-4 times. Anyhow, If you need some help I am here and available as time allows. Feel free to call me at 617-816-8467 for advice, or with questions - and visit our website at Precipio Learning. You People Are the Future of Medicine..... Best, Dr. John Precipio Learning LLC Since 2010
