Did anyone attend school out of state? What are the obstacles? Does it affect job search if you decide to go back home? Or does it not matter much?

Hello, I am having a lot of trouble trying to narrow down schools to apply to. Where I currently live, most of the schools nearby I cannot apply to because of my stats so I am seeking out of state options. I am ending my sophomore year so I still have another year before I can begin applying (and another year to continue to boost my GPA). Any help would be appreciated! GPA currently: 3.426 ( My last semester has not been added in still and my science GPA would be similar) I am not taking Ochem 2 or biochem but I have planned/taken genetics, cell bio, microbio, ochem 1, 2 semesters o

I am about to enter PA school as an F1 international student - been on a visa since I was in middle school as a dependent of my parents and recently became F1 because I turned 21. Any one out here able to give me insight in how they paid for it all? There doesn't seem to be much mercy for international students despite me residing in NY for almost a decade. I have citizen extended family, but they have their own lives and loans to care for and I feel like taking out a private loan with them cosigning will not be approved since they have mortgages and are about to take out a loan for their daug

Hello Illinois! I am a second year PA student at Barry University in Miami, FL. I am very interested in finding a rotation in Chicago in Ob/Gyn, preferably in perinatology/maternal-fetal medicine for next year. Obstetrics and gynecology have always greatly interested me, but I eagerly welcome the opportunity to learn about high risk pregnancies. I am aware that some locations require a rotation in Ob/Gyn before working in a specialized field like perinatology, and I would be happy to first complete an OB rotation if needed.
