  1. Hi!! My name is Morgan and I am a PA student halfway through my clerkship year and its time to choose an elective! Does anyone know of any PA, NP, MD, DO willing to precept in either Plastic Surgery or Women's health, L&D. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  2. I am a second year PA-S and I just completed my women's health rotation. I ended up loving obstetrics more than I thought I would! I was researching different jobs in OB/GYN and came across maternal fetal medicine. From the research I have found, it seems to be a very interesting and rewarding field! However, I have asked a couple of the providers at my rotation about a PA's role in MFM, and they have all said it is minimal. I was approached by the physician for this job and considered it as jobs are somewhat scarce in my area. I
  4. I am a current PA student living in the Bay Area and will be relocating to Los Angeles in mid-August. This means I am finishing my last 3 rotations in Southern California. If anyone knows of an OB/GYN who is willing to precept a PA student for 5 weeks sometime September-December I would greatly appreciate it!
  5. Hell everyone. I was accepted to PA school and will be starting in the summer of 2014. About 2 weeks ago I overdosed on sleeping pills..took 31 and was taken to the ER..I was kept there for 24 hrs for observation then released since no damage was done. The first thing that friends and some family members asked me is if this is going to affect my career as a PA. Your probably wondering why I did it well it was a stupid mistake. I've been taking them for years and was so angry at someone that I wanted to fall asleep immediately but that backfired on me because I started overdosing and was not ab
  6. I am currently a 2nd year PA student and my OB/GYN and EM rotation were cancelled recently and was wondering if anyone knew of any rotations for these in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area!? Thank you!!
