  1. Does anyone know of any private scholarships or grants to apply for? I will be starting at Wingate's PA school in August, which is in North Carolina. I have already applied for the Forgivable Education for Service Loan... I know about the NHSC scholarship/forgiveable loan but I'm not positive I want to practice in underserved communities after graduating. Please if anyone knows of any other options, I would greatly appreciate it!
  2. If you can basically get a Bachelors degree in what ever you want to, then why do PA schools even require it. Why can't you just take the pre-requisites and gain HCE and apply?
  3. Im worried about paying for tuition as i will be attending. tuition is roughly 45k i barely make any money now (10k a year maybe before taxes!) and i wont be working when i start school. My parent wont be helping with anything so its just me. Anyone know how much fafsa can give and how much in loans i can expect to be getting? curious what others have received and techniques for paying for PA school. If i did get loans i would obviously like loans where i dont have to pay interest while in school. Thanks in advance!!
  4. Hello I am a first year PA student and I am struggling with my gross Anatomy class and cadaver labs. It seems like the harder I study for these classes, the worse my grades get. Obviously, I am doing something wrong. One of my problems is that I study by myself all the time because I always feel like study groups study at a fast pace for me. Therefore, I end up studying by myself and not understanding the material:( I just found one study partner and it seems to help a little. I need to bring up my grade for anatomy ASAP. Any suggestions? Thanks
