What are some book/resources that you used to study for the PAEA end of rotation exams. Did you follow the blueprint exactly when studying? Thanks! -
I am thinking about applying into nursing program as my plan B, just in case I wont be selected for PA program. My question is, do you think the committee in interview would know about my new application; thinking it would raised a question "why did you apply for nursing? thx -

Hi Everyone. I have created a cheat sheet that I used while preparing for my PANRE. Included is a breakdown of the NCCPA Content Blueprint by main category (i.e cardiology, derm, pulmonary, etc. etc.) and individual subcategories/topics. Each subtopic is hyperlinked for a more in-depth review. You can print this cheat sheet out or download it as an interactive PDF to take notes and track your progress while you study. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. It is easy to get overwhelmed, but your exam will only cover the topics included in this checklist. Know these and you will be go

Many of my classmates tell me the PAEA EOR exams are challenging and the study blue print provided is useless. We are just starting our clinical year and nobody as really figured out how to do do well...people pass, but I want to do well. Any tips on how to prepare for the PAEA EOR exams? -

Hi, I graduated several months ago and have been doing a very detailed review of everything in the blueprint. Now, it's crunch time. I am signed up for a board review in early May and set to take my PANCE in late May. Any suggestions on which book or question banks I should focus on for these last few weeks? If you had to pick one thing to study from for the three weeks before your PANCE what would you choose? Thanks!

I'm looking for a lightly used diagnostic set (oto/ophthalmoscope) for PA school. The school I'm attending said they are not doing a group order this year, therefore, I need to buy my own early. I am planning to pick top schools (Duke, Weil, UC Davis, USC ... ). I also plan to apply to local schools in my area, which is in Florida (UF, Nova, Keiser). But I am not sure if I should consider this because of my spotty academic record (low gpa from 1st bachelors, withdrawing form a nursing school with good standing, and failing out of an ASN program). Is there any way to show adcom from these schools that I can be an equally competitive candidate than those with not so spotty academic records? Hello, I've been tutoring PA students now for 3 years. I have also been tutoring PA grads trying to pass the PANCE and the PANRE. For those students who have taken the PANCE and been unsuccessful, we find what area they were weak in, and begin with review of subject material and then on to test bank questions. For students about to take it for the first time, we pinpoint areas that they are weaker in by reviewing grades from their schools. Hi everyone.. Im having a difficult time passing the PANCE exam. I was considering taking the three day course CME resources. 3 day 100% guarantee?? how accurate is this? I unfortunately have failed this exam several times and would really be interested in one on one tutoring. Im in St. Petersburg Florida. Is there anyone willing to help a fellow PA out?? will compensate. :smile: I would really appreciate any insight on taking action for prepping for this exam. I own the chicago review...didn't help.

I have put together 3 practice exams for the PANCE and PANRE that are from the UMDNJ certified review course. They are online and meant so simulate the actual PANCE or PANRE that you will be taking. They are free and 120 questions each (for a total of 360 unique questions). I am still making some grammar corrections but wanted to get them posted since many people will be taking their PANCE this month. Here is the link... i have heard quite a lot of magic results on PANCE from those who have studies with Datachem or AAPA books. But i have no idea where to obtain these materials/ books. A USBN or a link to the purchase or download would be highly appreciated!
