  1. I applied for PA programs starting summer/fall 2011 along with my boyfriend who is looking to attend an accelerated (1 year) RN program. Right now I am working and he is taking prerequisites for his programs and we've been thinking of getting a dog in the next few months. Before we do so, we want to make sure that we'll be able to handle it when we are both in school so I was wondering if any past or present students have had a dog and if you felt like you had enough time to devote to it. Most schools say you are in class all day (as if a full time job) but how much time do you spend on campus after class? Is there enough of a break for lunch t possibly go home to let a dog out? Please let me know of any advice/suggestions you have. Thanks! Laura
