  1. Hi everyone! I’m a pre-PA student looking to shadow PA’s in Charlotte and surrounding areas if necessary. I’ve already reached out to the NCAPA and received a list of PA’s willing to allow students to shadow them and have had luck with 4 so far since the beginning of this year. I would love to get into the ED although I know it’s difficult with HIPAA. Surgery also interests me, but I’m really open to anything I haven’t seen already, which includes CT surgery, neurology, integrative oncology, and outpatient ortho. Please let me know of any opportunities out there, and thank you kindly in advance.
  2. Hello! Im a pre-PA student in North Carolina. Does anyone know of any PA shadowing opportunities in the Charlotte area? Thank you!
  3. Hi, I'm looking for a PA to shadow in the Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC area! I have already shadowed a PA in internal medicine and have shadowed an MD and NP in pediatrics. I'm specifically looking for opportunities to shadow in dermatology, gynecology, and internal medicine, but I am open to any specialty. Please let me know if you are available or if you know of a PA who is!
  4. I'm a first year PA student in DC and am looking to set up clinical rotations in both Boston, MA and Charlotte, NC in either Pediatrics, Women's Health/OBGYN, and/or Behavioral Medicine/Psych. Does anyone have any contacts or resources that may be helpful in setting these up? I'm not too sure where to start looking for possible preceptors. Any advice is appreciated!
  5. I just moved to Charlotte from Dallas TX where I was a CT surgical PA for 4 years, proficient in hearts (EVH), vascular and lungs. I am a mom of 2 young boys, want to be home during the week while my husband works and wondering if anyone thinks there are opportunities to cover weekend call or 1 day/week still doing CT. I love hearts, and with young babies and a new place, would love to stay with the speciality and not have to jump into something brand new.
