So I've only had two interviews so far, been rejected by one, but it is making me consider what I will do if I don't get in this cycle. Applying is very costly(as you know) and I really don't want to waste another year of my life in the same job living in my parent's house, as I am young and I believe life is too short to waste it doing things you hate. I thought applying for a research job at this prestigious university which would look good on my application but would bore me to tears. I had an idea of doing some work abroad but a lot of international programs cost an arm and a leg to apply. However I also want to add some spice to my life and feel like I'm actually doing some good for humanity instead of wasting months just writing PA school essays again. Any ideas for exciting gap year ideas on a budget(as a backup plan in case I am rejected all around)? Can you guys give me any examples of companies that give jobs or I can show up to a country I have family in and start doing charity work there?
Moboo posted a topic in CALIFORNIA: Loma Linda Univ. School of Allied Health Prof.Future classmates, I'm exicted to be a part of LLU's PA program, and I was curious to see who else got accepted and will be joining the class of 2016. The acceptance letter states that the class starts Monday, Sept. 22nd, so it will be a while until we begin the program. I hope to get to know you guys and girls a lot better, so please feel free to share your thoughts.
I'm currently a first year PA student and am extremely interested in doing one (or two) of my elective rotations in an asian country (Preferably Korea, China, or Taiwan). Does anyone have any information on possible sites I should look into (or any information related to this topic). I have no idea where to start. Thanks!
Good morning, I am currently taking my prerequisites for nursing or PA school. Up until just a few days ago I was not considering PA school. I have been doing some reading and research on opportunities for PA's to travel like a "travel nurse", but I haven't seen much info out there. Does this position even exist or is the demand extremely low??? Also I'm very interested in employment and volunteering abroad as well, so any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Ciao
