  1. I have some concern about my A&P GPA meeting the prerequisite requirement for PA school. As most of you know many PA schools have a minimum GPA requirement of a "B-" or 3.0. In my first term of A&P lab I received a C+, which doesn't meet the minimum requirement. But my overall A&P GPA (3 quarters of lecture and laboratory) does meet the minimum GPA requirement. What will PA schools look at, my individual letter grade or my overall A&P GPA?
  2. I am starting PA school in June, and am currently taking general biology 1 (ending in May) and working part time. (This course isn't a prereq I'm required to complete). However, if I dropped it, I would get a "W". I have heard different opinions on what to do before school starts (i.e. relax, family, friends, vacation, leisure reading, brush up on your A&P, etc.) It has been 5+ years since I've taken anatomy, physiology, and micro. I'm concerned whether or not I should spend the rest of my time before school reviewing that material since I'm kind of rusty...and DROP my biology course?
  3. Hey guys, So, the university I attend does NOT OFFER ANY anatomy and physiology with labs course in the bio department *argh*. All that they offer is A&P through the nursing school. I would prefer to take it at my university because I get free tuition. Would taking A&P through the nursing school be satisfactory? If it matters, our nursing school is rated as one of the top in the country. Thanks for your help :)
