  2. Wanted to reach out and see if I caught any students (or friends of students) at PCOM and see what they knew about the clinical rotations. I was accepted but have had trouble finding much information about the quality of clinical rotations/preceptors/facilities aside from that they can vary widely in location. Thank you in advance for anything you can offer!
  3. I know this has been addressed as a general topic, but has anyone been waitlisted at PCOM (specifically) and successfully worked your way off of it? If so, how did you do it? I just found out that I've been waitlisted and now that I'm done licking my wounds, I've been working on my letter of intent and lining up more shadowing opportunities. I desperately want to attend but don't know how to stand out. Furthermore, they state that they do not rank or order their list. Please help!
  4. Hey Everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. For the longest time, I was dead set on going to Rutgers/UMDNJ (since I did undergrad here), but applied to 9 other programs, just in case. As it turns out, I was accepted to Rutgers very early before hearing from any other schools. Since PCOM was my #2 school, I decided to go to the interview and loved it! Now that I have been accepted, I cannot decide which program to do. Both programs are relatively the same price with PCOM being a year shorter.   5. Hi Everyone, I'm new as a registrant but have been reading this forum for a long time. I have read a bunch of success stories about low gpa, etc. I have read about some people with low gpa's and almost no hce that were applying but many do not come back to share. Here's my situation: I have all my pre-reqs done at Richard Stockton College of NJ. I had to retake Chem 1, but got an A (previous grade D). I have two C's---Organic Chem II and Inorganic Chem II (along with Physics II--but It's not a prereq). I have shadowed a NP back in 2008 but only for 1 month for very little time (52 hou
