  1. I was wondering which GPA schools use during the admissions process. Undergrad, my CASPA calculated cumulative is 2.21 (i know, i know...) im currently in a masters in biology for health professions program and after two semesters my GPA is 3.42. using the CASPA GPA calculator spreadsheet, my cumulative with undergrad and grad is 2.4. which means i have to pick the correct schools in terms of GPA requirements etc. My question is will schools use only the CASPA cGPA to see if you meet the GPA requirement listed for their program? Do they look at sGPA moreso than cGPA? Do they take into account the 3.42 in graduate science courses regardless, or do I have to apply only to schools with the low GPA requirements OR the ones looking at most recent 40/60 credit hours?

  6. It's almost that time to start submitting applications for the upcoming cycle. I interviewed last year at Pacific (loved the school and location), and have been on their waitlist since last November. I will be applying again soon. Is there anyone here looking at applying a second time who interviewed at Pacific last year?

  10. Hello! I am a senior in Life Science and will be graduating spring 2019. I have a 3.411 cGPA, 3.263 sGPA. I have been a CNA in the hospital setting for 2 years and currently work as a CNA in home health and a tutor. I have 400 volunteer hours, 50 shadowing hours, myriad leadership positions on campus and though I know research has little to do with the PA field, am conducting biomedical research to learn more about the physiology behind the heart. I apply this cycle and was curious to see other's opinions on my statistics. Thank you.
