  6. If you have 3 people send letters of rec to CASPA but a school only requires 2; does CASPA randomly choose 2 out of your 3 to send to that school that only requires 2? That would sort of be unfair if you had 2 PAs and 1 professor send in LORs, and lets say the school requires: 1 from a professor and 1 from a PA... what if CASPA randomly chooses the 2 from the PAs. Then it looks like you never got one from a professor? Am I missing something here?

  8. I have been watching to see if someone was going to start this thread but no one has yet so I decided to do it. Anyone else applying this cycle?
  9. I'm planning on applying to a few PA programs this coming cycle and would like some advice pertaining to my stats. I have a 3.88 overall GPA, not certain what my science GPA is but it should be close to 3.8 since my undergrad was mostly science courses. I will also have 2 years fulltime HCE by the time of matriculation, if I get in this cycle. My GRE was 161 verbal(88%), 160 quantitative (76%), and unfortunately only 3.5 (42%) analytical writing. I know Midwestern's website says GRE is expected to be at or above 50th percentile for all sections. Does anyone know if they use 50% as a hard screen or if this score would be close enough if the rest of my application is strong? I'd rather not have to retake the exam, since I'm working two jobs right now but will if it's precluding me from the programs I'm interested in. Thanks!
  10. Hi, I am a little over 4 months from graduating and looking for PANCE study resources. I hate buying new when there's perfectly good used materials out there and hopefully save a couple $$. Namely, I am looking for Davis's PA Exam Review, Lange Q&A Physician Assistant Examination, 7th Ed., and PANCE Prep Pearls, however never taken the exam, I am open to try any other study material that helped you pass! Thanks so much. Joe
  11. Hello everyone, I took my PANCE on 3/27/2017 and I was really hoping to have my results today (Thursday 4/6/17), which is already a full 10 days after I took the test. Is anyone else waiting for their results? Has anyone contacted NCCPA? I plan on contacting them tomorrow. Hopefully Monday will be the day for me. Thank you!
  12. Just submitted my CASPA application! Now to work on the supplemental. Best of luck to everyone, can't wait to hear your updates.
  13. I haven't seen a thread started for this year yet so I thought I would start one. I know I'm stressing like crazy just waiting to hear something! Who else is applying here?
