  1. I've been accepted and I'm looking to connect with others in this class that starts this year. Drop me a line if your out there.
  2. I have a question to pass the time until the lucky individuals of Anchorage class # 5 receive invitations. I know many people didn't finish the reading and comprehension test administered during the interview secondary to the length of time v number of questions. Did each of you complete it? Do you think it was better to leave unanswered questions vs guessing on the last of the questions because you ran out of time? I'm wondering because I heard many people discussing this situation after the examination.
  3. Let's use this thread to keep each other posted on the status and process of applicants who are awaiting acceptance into Anchotage class #5. Good luck ladies and gentleman!
  4. I was there! I had a great time and was truly honored to be included in such a talented diverse group ... and your thoughts? F -Gary (from Colorado)
  5. Good job today ladies and gentleman! It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to get to know each of you. I hope to see you again in Seattle! -Gary ... the guy from Denver ;)
  6. I'm in for sure .... As I mentioned before I'm traveling with my wife and son, thus, we are a party of three. I look forward to meeting each of you on Friday at 5:30pm!
  7. Tracy, I just wanted to mention I'm traveling with my wife and son for the interview, thus, if our attendance isn't appropiate let me know. I haven't been to the Cattle co. My son is 13 years old ... let me know! Gary
  8. In my opinion shadowing is important especially if you have limited exposure to the pa profession. Exposure will allow you to truly understand the roles and responsibilities. I have 12 years of experience as a paramedic both on an ambulance and in an ER working with pa's and I still feel I could benefit from shadowing a pa in a different speciality.
  9. Hello there applicants! I too will be interviewing on the 5th and might be interested in meeting up. I will be flying in a few days early from Denver and staying at the Sheridan near the Anchorage campus. Keep me posted! -Gary
