  1. Congrats!!!! Unfortunately they did not give specific notes on our interview last year. Usually they do, but not last year. I think you just need to be confident in yourself and be honest. I know it sounds cliche but I feel that once they notice a weak point in something you say they gnaw at it. If you let your real personality shine through then you should be fine. At least that's what I'm hoping for this year! Good luck:)
  2. I think that it does mean that your app is on hold. But don't worry, a lot of the time they will put you on hold and invite you later on. It happened to a friend of mine last year. He was put on hold then received an interview invite a little later. I know it's hard but give it some time!
  3. Yes, I received that email a day or two before I got an interview invite!
  4. I did not like last year's interview style either :/ way too much pressure..how do you know that this year's interview will be different?
  5. I got the application is compete email on oct 16 and received an interview invite on oct 17. Pretty quick if you ask me! I was not expecting it this soon at all. I am a re-applicant so I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Anywho I'm pretty excited :)
  6. My application was mailed in early September and I still have not received a "receipt of application" email. Could it be that they still haven't processed my app? I'm getting concerned
  7. Congrats!! When did you receive the invite, if you don't mind me asking?
  8. Has anyone received an interview invite for this cycle yet? I thought I'd start a thread.
  9. That's what I've been wondering. I haven't heard anything but my caspa was mailed early September so it'll probably be a while by the time I hear back. I wonder if they send out interview invites every month?
  10. I'm SO confused. So more than a week ago I called and left a message about a supplemental app, or a general liu admissions app, that some people have been saying that they submitted. Anyway, they called me back and said absolutely nothing besides the CASPA app is needed. Fast forward a week and I get the same weird email that a lot of you have gotten about making a CAS account and how my application fee has been waived. I call them back and they tell me "oh that's probably because of your supplemental application"... What? After being transferred to the accounts department I had to leave another message about a supplemental.. Anyway! My question is. Is there a supplementary or general LIU admissions app we also need to submit??
  11. It seems as though each month they send out interviews scheduled for the month after...has anyone heard anything for an interview in October? I hate waiting! Hah as you can all imagine
  12. Thanks you! You have put me somewhat at ease! Hopefully ill be hearing from the soon
