  1. Hey there! I’m a current 1st year student, and they will not interview you with outstanding pre-req classes. They typically do interviews October-February, so even if you don’t finish your class until December, you still have plenty of time to get an interview and get in, I wouldn’t stress too much. 2. You have plenty of time! They won't do their first interviews until October. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That's what's up! Congrats!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. How exciting!! Congrats! Join us on FB "WMU PA class of 2019." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe they meant that between the next interview session and the offers they have out, they have enough candidates they wouldn't need to interview any more? Sorry to hear about your rejection though, maybe next time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hey all, just wanted to quick update that I was mistaken about the Facebook page! According to Donna, we as a cohort need to organize our own Facebook group. Her recommendation to me was that we wait until our class of 2019 is finalized though. (No idea when that would be though.) Sorry for the confusion! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How exciting!! Congrats and good luck :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you for creating this thread, I'm so excited to begin the process of getting to know my future classmates! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the previous year's student will create a FB page for us? Anyone else that knows for sure please feel free to chime in. :) I PM'ed you my personal info for the time being. I'm excited to hear about anyone else who has received an acceptance as well! 9. For the interview in October, they told us that most of us would hear either way within 8-10 days. In reality it took a little over 3 weeks to hear something, and as far as I understand, most people from my interview group still have yet to hear anything at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Gave up my interview today, I hope this means someone else can make the best of this great opportunity! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I was at that interview as well! I also was getting frustrated with the waiting game. I did hear on this last Monday that I was accepted, though. I would check your spam box. I would also email Holly and ask for an update. When I emailed her a couple weeks ago she was great about getting back to me within a couple hours! Best of luck to you and hang in there! Never give up if this is something you really want! I graduated from UofM with a cum GPA of 2.88 after failing my entire sophomore year. I took the time to get high quality patient care experience and make pretty decent money to pay off as much of undergrad as I could. My RRT classes also helped boost my GPA from the 2.88 all the way to a 3.30 overall. If being a PA is something you have your heart set on, there is always a way! If you are reading this and need any advice, feel free to PM me. This forum has been a tremendous help over the last few years with preparing to apply. I would love to be able to pay it forward!
