  1. Hi I am currently a PA student in Las Vegas, and I am hoping to do some clinical rotations in Colorado. I have heard from some of my instructors here that Colorado is not a PA friendly state, and others saying that it is. Please clarify if you can. I love Colorado and want to live there one day...but would I want to work there as a PA? Experiences or opinions are welcomed. Thanks.

  3. Hi, I am almost done with my PA program in Las Vegas, and I am interested in going to Colorado to do some of my clinical rotations. I have heard from some of my instructors that Colorado is not a very PA friendly state. I find that hard to believe because Colorado has two PA programs itself. Please help. Opinions or experiences are welcomed.

  5. Please tell me that I am wrong. I was told that interventional cardiologists are making CT surg PAs less and less needed and that the speciality is in trouble. Is this true? Are there an PAs out there that would know this to be fact or terrible rumor?
  6. thats encouraging. I really want to continue my education as a PA after my masters. What are some of the more popular doctorates out there, EMEDPA? I like the sound and benefits of both DHSc and DS. How common and competitive is it to get into these programs and what background makes a good template for getting in?
  7. I start my PA program in July of 2012 at Touro University Nevada. Can't wait to become what I believe one of the best professions in medicine.

  8. I agree. Robin eventually become Nightwing...took time though.
  9. I am just a PA student not even close to taking my PANCE (off). *sorry* I'm still young and naive to some degree. But SERIOUSLY my question: What about DScPA? What are some advantages and what is the likelyhood of other schools opening up this option...is it worth it?
  10. Been there, done that! I just got into the 2014 class. I've heard all the rumors. A lot of repetition, so I guess there's no kidding around about the stern staff. Oh well, SUCK IT UP! only 1 real year with this people really in your face about it. I'm not scared. Just give me the chance to set for my PANCE. DONE!
  11. Just got accepted into the class of 2014 and I am very excited! Congrats to all that have made it. I was wondering what are everyone's backgrounds? Whether you are current students, past, or in my class. I'm 25 years old from THE Ohio State University. My undergrad was in Biology and Medical Technology. I am currently a Medical Technologist in Las Vegas. I am VERY excited to get out of the lab and into the fray!!! I am about the join the Facebook group so I can start putting faces to you all, and I suggest everyone else does too. As for prep work, yeah, I haven't started yet:smile:...but I wil
