  1. I would suggest that unless you really have to go to this school (i.e. only acceptance, close to home) to please pick another. That is until management can get its act together. Right now things have deteriorated to a point where it is not only unbearable but people are actually getting worried about not learning enough to be successful come rotation time. The school is trying to compensate by attracting new students with super high GPA's in order to at least keep the program successful on paper. This of course is just treating the symptom and is not improving the overall quality of instruction, which (aside from one or two good instructors) is close to pathetic. There are good programs out there, this is not one of them, I wish someone had told me before I took the plunge and payed the 250,- (is it still 250 to secure your spot?) fee. I sincerely regret picking this program and unfortunately most of us think like this. Good luck
  2. Jraimer: don't worry about the interview, I know it sounds cheesy but it is true; be yourself because they just want to get to know you and they want to make sure that you are aware of what it is that you are getting yourself into. Claudia really makes you feel at home and she goes out of her way to prepare you for the rest of the day. Don't worry about the writing portion, English is my second language and I can't spell if my life depended on it but still made it in. I am convinced that they just want to see if you possess mature coherent thought processes. If it weren't for the nerves it would actually be a fun experience... that's how nice they are. good luck, don't worry gnardo: I also start this summer and I think the Facebook page is awesome! thank you so much for doing that. I would like to ask you though (I am a Facebook noob) is it possible to "lock" the page down a bit so we can all share some personal information without the whole world knowing? I am thinking about backgrounds but also maybe places to live, possible roommates, nice to know info from previous classes, etc? I am going to see if Claudia is willing to give 2014 class members a headsup regarding the existance of the FB page so we can get to know each other before all hell breaks loose at the end of May. Thanks again!
  3. Also, check your online profile. I was offered an interview but to this day I am still waiting for an email. I check my account often and it showed up there.
  4. Hey congrats Theyus! interview day is looong but very relaxed they try to put you at ease, with me at least, dont know how other experiences are.
  5. I just got back from my interview on thursday and I want to thank all the current students from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful experience. You guys were crazy busy yet you still made time to come see us and answer questions. Like Whitney711 I cannot say enough good things about Claudia, I felt like I met my second mom. Not in a, pick up after me, way but in a, welcome home here are some cookies, way. What an amazing program, what an amazing experience, thank you!!!!!!!
  6. hey CTL I hear ya! I am interviewing on December 1st as well so I wonder the same thing... However on the other hand, everyone I talk to tells me that we are very, very early in the process so all the options are still wide open. Heck there are a lot of interviews in January as well so not to worry. (easier said that done I know haha). see you on Thursday!
  7. Natacha, I would not worry, my caspa was mailed somewhere in september but did not hear anything until two weeks ago. Clearly it takes a while for the paperwork to clear desks which makes sense considering the numbers. No worries. Meyerkl, never thought I would say this (I think it is a very random phrase) but it is true, they just want to get to know you in order to assess if you are fully aware of what it is you are getting yourself into. Everyone I talk to tells me that the program is very, very demanding as is the career field itself. They just want to figure out if you gave this whole PA thing enough thought so that you don't run away in horror 3 months after the program has started. Good luck! I think that it ain't over until that dreaded letter or one day after the program has started. I heard that they call alternates right up until the last minute.

  9. I really cannot tell, I always come up with the best answers on the way home haha. What I liked was that they really just want to get to know you, but they also don't hint on how the interview went (obviously). Long story short, I think it went ok but you never know until that call! Good luck
  10. hey cushball08 I guess I see you there on tuesday! I got an interview at 12 on that day, very exciting, my first interview for a PA program. well actually my very first interview in the States! Four questions?! what kinds of questions can we expect? Do we have to study up for those?? Congrats to all of you that got in!!
  11. Hey guys just a heads up, dont know if I am the only one that this has happened to but... Submitted caspa somewhere in sept, called admissions to see if everything was ok, lost GRE scores but was found with a little digging, and was told that I would hear something soon. Well time went by and I was driving myself crazy with checking my email every 10 minutes but did not hear anything. Then I checked this forum and heard the buzz regarding online profiles??? No idea what that was all about but luckily jyquach posted the email trail from the admissions office with link to portal. Well I just tried to log in to see if I was at least in the system, well turns out that I am invited for an interview with the request if I would be so kind as to pick a date!!?? never received and email, letter, or call! Don't know if I am the odd one out (as usual ;-) but I would check, even if you haven't heard anything, just to make sure! Don't know if I am jumping the gun here and maybe I get an email from the school in the morning, who knows, but better safe than sorry.. good luck everyone!
