Thank you all for the advice! I actually think I am going to switch my major to dietetics and nutrition (which will unfortunately hold me back a semester) and become a clinical dietitian for a couple of years before applying to PA school.
So here's the deal. I'm going to finish my undergrad degree in health science next summer, but I feel like I don't have the gpa (3.0) to go right into PA school right after I graduate. When I graduate I plan on getting a health care related job and retaking some pre-reqs at a community college to boost my gpa. What are some good entry-level healthcare careers that I will be able get with my degree before I apply to PA school?
I am currently pursuing a degree in chemistry as an undergrad, and I was wondering what the difference was between biochemistry and biological chemistry. Also, which course do you guys think would prepare you more for PA school?
I really want to work with children and general family care and I was wondering if there was such thing as a pediatric physician assistant. I can't find much information on it, and the pediatrician that I grew up with didn't have an assistant that I was aware of.
