  1. It seems to be the common trend that most people are notified of their acceptance at least the day after their interview. Has anyone heard back from the school any later? Week(s)/ Month? They did say in the interview that the latest is March..
  2. I interviewed and haven't heard anything yet. It was a small group for sure.
  3. I received a letter yesterday indicating that all seats have been filled. Interviews from here on out are for spots on the waitlist.
  4. I read somewhere, in a previous post, that historically they do pull students from the wait-list. Keep your hopes up!
  5. I got selected for the November interview, and I'm honored to take the spot. I'm coming all the way from California as well. Good luck to you guys, and see a few of you in the fall.
  6. Well. I'll kick off this thread for Yale. Good luck to all applicants! Please share and update us on any news you hear. I received the "we have everything email" on Aug. 7th. Current students; tell us about your program!
  7. I'm from SoCal, San Diego (native). The PA I shadowed graduated from this program and spoke highly of it. This is actually my third year applying to PA schools (2nd year to Towson), but when you know something is meant for you then you can't help but fight hard for it. I don't know the "special secret" to getting in, but I've tried to make myself a better candidate every year. Good luck to every one, and lets keep each other posted. The waiting game is a looooonnnng one, believe me. ha.
  8. Hey guys, This is my first year applying to MEDEX, Seattle. But my 3rd go around in applying to PA Schools. I'm from SoCal, San Diego :) My Stats: 24 yrs old 3000 Hrs, hands on patient care with Cardiologist 450 Hrs, Volunteer/Shadowing a PA 3.6 GPA cummlative 3.5 Science Best of luck to all of us!
  9. Hey guys, This is my second year applying to Towson. I'm out of state, California Baby :) Stats are: 3.6 GPA cummulative, 3.51 GPA Science, 3000 hands on patient care working for a Cardiologist, 450 PA shadowing. My LORs include, MD, PA, and RN. I submitted to CASPA July 26 and received email from Towson on Aug 8th. Currently my app is under review. Last year I got a denial right off the bat...but I still haven't heard anything, so I'm feeling good about it this year. Good luck everyone!
  10. Quick question regarding pre-reqs (because I'm on the waitlist). The schools that I have attended list classes as "Prep for Gen Chem," or "Prep for Biology" instead of listing them General Chem I and so forth. Then the second class in the line up is just General Chemistry. Do these classes count towards the pre-req requirement? These class titles vary from state to state. I suppose I can give catalog description if it came down to discussion.
  11. I am on the waitlist. I'm very hopeful and excited to meet you all in the fall. Good luck to everyone. Get em' Class of 2014!
  12. Nothing at all. I can't imagine them extending interviews into February or even March. I don't mean to be a downer, but its time to gear up for next year.
  13. Still nothing. I emailed the program and the gave me the usual line of.."apps are still under review. If you are selected for an interview you will receive invite by email, and rejection by snail mail." I'm not certain if they will hold interviews in February.
