  1. I am planning to apply to UND's PA program this coming cycle and I have a question regarding the STATS prerequisite. Is taking a general Statistics course acceptable? The website states it is preferred that the Stats prerequisite be geared toward Psychology, Biology, or Sociology but I'm having difficulty finding one of those for summer session. Thanks for any info.
  2. Another question regarding pre-requisites. I noticed that it is suggested that the Statistics pre-req be one with an emphasis for Sociology, Biology, or Psychology. I am wondering if anyone has taken a general Statistics class (ie. Intro to Statistics) and been granted an interview and/or accepted to the program. Thanks for any info.
  3. Derek-Thank you for posting this. I, too, am very interested in finding a preceptorship for the UND Track I program. Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. I am currently waitlisted for a program that begins in the next couple of months. I haven't heard anything and I'm wondering if any PA students been taken off waitlists for their PA class just months before the program begins? Thanks for any encouragement you may be able to provide.
  5. I am a non-traditional student, in my mid 50's, who has applied the past 2 years for admission to various PA programs. I have received interviews, and am currently on an alternate list. I am struggling to decide whether or not to apply again this year as I am concerned that by the time I graduate I will be in my late 50's and am unsure whether potential employers will see me as a strong potential employee since I likely would work only ten years or so. I appreciate any feedback you can give.
  6. Currently in my 50's, I have applied to PA schools for the last two application cycles. I have gotten interviews but only been placed on one alternate list. I am now at a crossroads trying to decide whether or not to apply again. The only reason I would choose not to is my concern that my age at graduation (late 50's) might deter potential employers from hiring me. Does anyone have any insight regarding this and if it is a valid concern or not? Thanks.
