  1. I currently work in outpatient vascular, and am now furloughed due to COVID. I previously was in ortho for 5 years. COVID-19 hasn't hit full force in Texas yet, but I want to be prepared in case it does. With a few years behind me from school, and no UC/ED or inpatient experience, I need a refresher in alot of topics that I haven't had to deal with in awhile. Being furloughed, I don't exactly have cash sitting around to spend on CME and can't get reimbursed by my company for a few months. Anybody have any recommendation for free or inexpensive CME to help refresh our ortho/surgical minds to prepare in case we need to step up and help out during these crazy times?? Thank you to all over our amazing PA's that are currently in the front line everyday. My heart goes out to you and your family!
  2. Thanks so much! Can't wait to meet everyone!
  3. After a long 6 months of waiting, I got the call this morning!! I've been accepted to the class of 2015! On my birthday of all days!! So excited!!!
  4. This was in the email I received about completing my application: If you are currently missing any materials, a to-do list should appear in the middle of the screen with a list of what is missing located below. If this not something you are seeing or your account is telling you “to apply”, you will have to contact the Helpdesk to have your account reset. For any issues with your MyBarry accounts please contact the Help Desk phone: (305) 899-3604/email: helpdesk@mail.barry.edu. Once reset, Please allow your MyBarry account approximately 48 hours from this email to reset and portray your accurate application status. I had to do this too. But CALL! The email never did anything for a week, and they fixed it immediately when I called. Hope this helps!
  5. Wmm1026 or devonp, do either of you know if they have made any decisions on the first two interview groups? I was in the first, and my sister was in the second, and neither of us has heard anything at all and it's been 3 weeks. Just getting a little nervous!!
  6. cgearhard, Goodluck! I actually had an interview last Friday, just waiting to hear back!

  8. I have a very outgoing personality and have no problem speaking up and saying what's on my mind, but for some reason in a group setting of people I don't know aprtiicularly well, I get very intimidated by the people around me. I become very shy and quiet, which may cause problems in the group interviews. Does anyone have any good advice on how to approach the interview without getting so intimidated?
