  1. If LESH and MCHAD are still around I just wanted to say THANKS for your help back in 2010! I'm set to graduate in August and taking the PANCE a week later. I have some interviews scheduled soon afterwards! Very grateful for all I learned on this forum!
  2. From their website: "The primary reasons for the probationary status revolve about administrative policies and processes for self-assessment including the implementation of continuous quality improvement processes. In particular, ARC-PA focused its critique on inadequate analysis of data on program and student success, and use of these data for evidence-based improvements in the curriculum and program. We acknowledge that we can substantially improve in this area and vow to redouble our efforts to meet accreditation standards and to maintain our position as one the best PA educational programs in the country."
  3. I'm currently job searching for my first job. I'm looking in a certain city where there's tons of jobs posted for NP. Should I apply even though a PA is not stated? Is this ok to do?

  5. Graduation is approaching and I'm beginning my job search. I'm looking in Nashville and most jobs I'm finding are for an NP. Should I apply anyway?

  8. That's what I thought and it's what I stated in my original question. I was confused when someone said in this thread that you couldn't prepay on the principal. My plan has always been to make extra payments and get it paid off quickly.

  11. I've never had debt (or a mortgage) so I guess I'm confused by this whole thing. So I make extra payments and they go toward interest and then over time they go toward the principle. Right? So even though my extra payments are going toward interest, I'm still able to pay it off sooner? By paying down the interest I reach the principle sooner? Sorry, if these questions are Finance 101.
