  1. Saw that. I'm happy they chose to go for CASPA for their application process. I'll be reapplying once again. Wish me luck!
  2. Thanks Joelseff. I'm sure I've printed out an extra postcard I can probably use for the next application. ;) Just need to figure out how I can afford to repeat my courses that are about to expire.
  3. Congrats for those who received interviews- I wish you all the best! William208, I share your dissapoinment as I received my rejection letter yesterday. I'm also a reapplicant and I thought I had a stronger application since I had last interviewed (2x like you-advanced courses, countless hours in healthcare, teaching clinical med asst., judged the Intel science fair, published in a scientific journal when I was a researcher). It's been a tough year for me as well (on food stamps, divorce, on MediCal, living in a suitcase in two locations). Perhaps they are not viewing reapplicants as strongly this time? I'll just need to try much harder given lack of resources
  4. I teach part-time as a clinical medical assistant instructor for a vocational program (approximately 25 students from a variety of age groups/ethnicities/educational backgrounds). Since it's not direct patient experience, I still feel it's important to list somewwhere on my application as I teach both didactic as well as clinical skills. Thoughts?
  5. Congrats for those with interviews -I received my rejection letter in the mail after having been interviewed two years in a row (and rejected). :( Next application process though, I'm going for the GOLD!!
  6. Hi Lesh, Are there any upcoming information sessions that will be posted?
  7. Does anyone know if all the calls/notifications have been made?
  8. I'm playing the waiting game too! :) However, keeping myself a busy bee trying not to think about it.

  10. Patiently [anxiously] waiting. (Crossing fingers). Best of luck!

  13. Hi William, when I interviewed, Monica was well aware of the NHSC/HRSA deadline. I'm guessing they are working diligently and will let those know next week (crossing fingers!).
