  1. Hes good started radiation this week, next week he starts the chemo pills. We shall see, its looking like its more likely I may get atleast the majority of my rotations in IL.and only have to drive an hour. I can't wait to actually be on rotations starting in February! My first two are hospitalist rotations that are counting for my internal medicine and geriatrics.
  2. Hello, the only Pediatrics rotation our program has is in Flint, Michigan and my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma in August so I am trying to atleast stay in the state of IL for my rotations. If anyone can help or guide me in anyway I really appreciate it! Thanks!
  3. I agree although our program has had several faculty members leave I am glad to say I have never felt like this. We were welcome to go in their office and discuss things. Our faculty are very open and supportive, especially to those that are non traditional. I would say just tough it out and keep going. I won't say the program I am in is perfect in any way, but I don't feel like they are out to get me either, thank goodness. School is hard enough especially in dealing with that kind of atmosphere.
  4. ..

It sounds like this is happening to several programs, after January we will be left with one professor who I guess then will have to be clinical coordinator and program director. I have no idea how this will work out.
  5. Weirdly enough, mine were and even my TB ended up being covered.
  6. don't give up any activities that you love just because you may feel like you don't have the time for it. I made that mistake first semester and I felt like the second semester when I worked out more, I was less stressed out. I also felt like for some reason the next semester didn't require as much study time because I used that time more efficiently once I found out the way I studied.
  7. Yeah we have lecture tomorrow from 1-5 too and I am pretty sure he was attending the whole conference.
  8. No news is good news, they may still be at the aapa conference.:=D:
  9. Shaun called me at 6:30 and others got called later than that last year:)
  10. yeah mine was only individual and its pretty standard to other individual interviews I had been to, but its you with several members of the committee. I will not be leading the tour Friday, but I will be doing a building/campus tour the next Wednesday :=D: Seriously relax, this was one of the most laid back interviews I had and they know your application on paper, now is the time for them to see your personality shine through a little bit via the interviews. Good Luck!
  11. Your welcome! I know it was helpful when I got to talk to someone last year and I'm hoping we can talk to you guys while your waiting for your interviews :)
  12. I interviewed on a Monday and I found out the next Sunday, which was good because I was planning on going to TN and apartment hunt the next week down there :) Some people found out the next 2 or 3 days after their interview and some it took up to a week.
